Stephen did his formal ashtanga yoga teacher training in 2014 at a yoga academy in Rishikesh, North India. Later, in 2016, he advanced his training with rocket yoga sequence in Fuerteventura. Since 2014, he has been teaching yoga on a regular basis in Lancaster and surrounding area in yoga studios.

Rocket Yoga is fast-paced and has a dynamic flow. Its structure is similar to that of Ashtanga Yoga, consisting of Surya Namaskar, standing poses, seated poses, twists and bends.

In Rocket Yoga, students can modify and make their own interpretation of the traditional asana. Stephen believes that a regular yoga practice is essential for a happy, healthy mind, body and soul.

KUNDALINI YOGA

In this modern era, our sympathetic system is always
stimulated so our fight-or-flight mode is heightened. This overstimulation
leads to an active nervous system, glandular system and mind, making relaxation
very difficult.

Kundalini Yoga can regulate our Nervous System, sympathetic
and parasympathetic. When our physicality, mentality and emotions are
functioning well, taking action according to our heart is simple. We can then
create the life we want with ease. Satya is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and
Registered Aura Soma Practitioner. She can assist you to re-write your
Subconscious Pattern through regulating your Nervous System and resolving
Emotions to create your ideal life and live well.

Our focus is on Qigong – a powerful, meditative movement practice that beautifully complements yoga. Each practice brings something unique and together they help you get the most out of both disciplines.

This is a Magic Hat class – pay what you like, or nothing at all. Donations to cover room hire appreciated! Just come along and enjoy the practice  Extras and one-to-one sessions available for those keen to go deeper.

What classes do you offer at Sage & Thyme?

Classes include yoga, meditation, breathwork, seasonal practices and embodied spiritual work. They are designed to be steady, supportive and welcoming.

Can beginners join the classes?

Absolutely. Classes are open to all levels and are guided with care so everyone can take what they need from the experience.

Where do I park for classes?

There are several one-hour parking bays directly outside the shop. There is also free parking just along the residential road if you need longer.

How do I access the class space?

Classes are held downstairs and accessed via the side of the building using ten steps with a handrail. If access is a concern please contact us before booking so we can talk it through.
